Japanese Vintage Garments


If you are especially fond of Kimonos, you can choose from a selection of vintage pieces, including Japanese Wedding Kimonos, of the highest quality art to wear found anywhere. Yasuko had a special showing in 2004 at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco, and was there again in December 2005, including not only Kimonos, but Haori Jackets, her one-of-a-kind designer jackets, plus Obi's and Shawls from Japanese vintage textiles. SHITAGI (undergarment) is chirimen silk, uniform cream color with batting in bottom
JUBAN (lining) is artistic hand knotted Shibori on very high quality jaguard.
Collar is finely hand embroidered with crane and cherry blossom motif in white silk and gold thread.
FURISODE is chirimen crepe with artistic hand yuzen and fine embroidered accents in a motif of cranes, cherry blossoms, pine and bamboo.
Age = Taisho or early Showa
Condition = "B"
